How does it feel to be a life long healer? | Ep. 2

On this episode I am interviewing a healer who uses many forms of energy healing.

Hello everybody, my name is Cadwod and I am here with my psychic sister, Jules and a big thank you to the host of this channel and to everybody who's listening in today.

So I thought we'd start off with things that we are familiar with for almost a lifetime now, Jules, which is our psychic work and our mediumship work and of course healing.

And maybe we could start talking about the wisdom and light aspect of your healing courses and where you've been working in the past and what's carried on from there in your healing journey.

So can you take us right back to the beginning of that?

Beginning was a bit of a weird one.

I didn't know that healing existed or what it was until I went along to a night class that a friend of mine's mother said I'd be interested in because I was doing psychic readings and tea leaf readings and things like that since I was a teenager.

And I went along to this class and the chap there that was holding the class

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

Some spiritual studies that he was teaching called the Wisdom and Light Studies.

That interests me a lot.

That had been taught a very long time ago and had been channeled through and added to old, you know, translated writings that they had.

It came, some of it came from these scenes or other mystics and other schools of thought that had all been sort of put together in an ABC

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

able to go to any of these courses, lessons, workshops, in whichever form they were given, and actually sit in the presence of the higher energies, which really, really were there.

And there's a huge difference when they do come in.

Just to ask you a question there, sorry to interrupt.

That energy you talk about, do you think that's diminished of late?

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

I also would like to say that the teacher that I was sat through the courses when I was sitting there myself, when we were last in verbal contact in 2014, he'd had to give up because he said the people who were coming had no real understanding of what was going on or what they were walking into.

and they were bringing some other kind of energy in that was just not right so he had to spend a lot of his time not doing ABC but going to A minus B minus to try and bring them up and he said he couldn't do it so he stopped plus he was getting older at the time and he found it difficult so he was asking me what I was doing I said well I'm being honest with you I retired from it all because fighting against

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

All the intention, integrity, intention, intent.

The intent went poof.

Which has to include integrity.

Spiritually, you know, and moral integrity.

No, it was all about I can't wait to do No Disrespect to Reiki because I have done it myself.

I can't wait to do Reiki too so I can earn some money.

I'm sorry, that's not the attitude you should be happening.

You should be happening as in creating the opportunity to be able to help somebody.

So how long ago, and when you had done Wisdom and Light and you moved on, how long ago since you've done Reiki for example?

The first Reiki I did, I did my Reiki one way back in 90-something, must have been 98 maybe, and I thought

Hmm.

And then I was offered, which is a terrible thing to say, but it's true.

I was offered Reiki to my masters over a cup of coffee in exchange for helping someone to write a bit of book.

No ceremony, no training, no nothing.

And I stopped.

That was it.

Well, that's unethical for a start.

Yes, that's unethical.

And I came across it more than once.

And I just thought, well, there's something going wrong.

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

to have because the man that I was learning a lot of teaching from he was a vice chairman or chairman for the CHO for healing and he said look we're trying to get Reiki recognized and get it standardized.

Can you liaise with these people over a period of time so they can create a proper course that people can do that that has got you know content in it that has got supervision in it that has got

How does it feel

Nobody could come forward at the time, this is at the time, for a course that had enough content in it because they hadn't been taught it themselves.

They didn't have the knowledge, they hadn't been elsewhere to learn other things.

So it was, I closed the door on it really and it was many years before I decided well let's have another look at it and I sat at Reiki 2, in fact I've done Reiki 2 three times with three different aspects of it.

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

been a great foundation in my Reiki practice and how I teach.

Well, as you know, I'm not teaching anymore because it has become so infected with the greed in people to try and compete with it and jazz it up into something else so that they can compete with other practitioners.

Well, I was also very fortunate to have a close friend who was Japanese.

She sadly passed away now.

And she was given the opportunity to translate the proper Usui training into English.

Again, about 2000 I think it was.

And it was a three year course.

Yes.

Before you were even allowed near anybody.

Yes.

And there were years of meditation to go through and all sorts of other practices.

Nothing like anything that I'd come across or that other people I talked to knew about.

And in the end, whatever happened to that translation, I don't think it was allowed in the end.

I am aware that there is somebody a few years ago picked up the gauntlet and decided to go through the traditional training.

This lady was a master herself and she said the interpretation of the word master in the Western world is totally different than her understanding and her training.

But the thing is we will never have, as far as I can tell today, a true or a full understanding of Reiki.

Because a lot of it, the Gakkai, do not release.

It's held within that small group of people.

And it was in fact an offshoot of

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

One of his old students that brought it to the West and she if you like Took a Christian stance there to make it more palatable to the West Yeah and of course a lot of people who want to exploit the vulnerability of sick people and all of that have run with it and it's become almost Unrecognizable in parts.

Well, the one thing I did learn from from a Japanese friend is

Yes, it takes three years of constant study, minimum, before you're allowed to place any form of healing.

It was four years before I could take my master teacher course.

Yes, and it's five through there, but it's constant.

It's not a weekend here and a weekend there.

It was constant training.

How does it feel

Other titles that people are starting to add and twist and change.

There are only so many symbols.

All these other ones are made up by other people.

They're not really connected.

Some people might be very offended by what I'm saying and what you've said, but I'm sorry.

But if you do your research properly, you will find that that is what's happened.

Well, there'll always be dissenting voices and there'll always be people who are uncomfortable with what they may have been taught to hear a different version of it.

But I feel that's their issue.

They can find out about it, they can talk to us if they wanted to, but it's up to us to speak the truth as we find it and be allowed to do that.

You don't have to agree with us.

And then you went on, sorry, but you went on, I don't want to lose the history of your healing journey.

Then you went on to do another course, didn't you?

Which I think had some, was it the Monmouth Healers that introduced you to it?

No, no.

I did, I worked, I did my probationary healing through the World Federation, which existed at the time, down in the south of England.

And I became a trainer for the World Federation and then Sussex Healers.

How does it feel

and I think I think there was about 30 mid late sort of mid late 30s I stopped the healing training so I was doing so much work with other things as well I don't have time to breathe plus I had a young child as well and I was doing an awful lot of readings all over the place and

It was an everyday, you know, Monday to Sunday, as in Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, right through to Sunday.

There weren't days off and it was getting ridiculous.

So I just sort of had to slow down with a few things, look after me a bit better.

Yeah, sometimes you have to do that.

You've got to do it.

So healing would take, would happen now and then.

I'd have obviously clients come to me through the years here and there.

How does it feel to be a life long healer?

Oh yes you are, yes.

The Wisdom and Light are teachings.

They're in the process, this sounds, you know, an excuse but it isn't, it's fact.

They're in the process of being rewritten.

Before my teacher passed he said you've got to write them, rewrite them, to bring them into the modern world because they have to be because there is a lot of knowledge out there but it's a lot of misknowledge as well but the understanding and

The people are more awake.

They are becoming more awake.

So they are capable of digesting what is being said.

And yes, there's always a mixture in a class.

I was a complete beginner when I went for my first course, but there were some people there who weren't.

So the first two or three courses that you go through will have a mismatch of sort of different knowledges and levels of people, but they're not

It's almost like you've got to strip it right back to its original truth.

I think it's got to become more practical, because there is practical in it obviously, but people, a lot of it was written work, where you would write down the information to keep it, to form a sort of energy as you're writing, sort of mandalaying the actual progress of what you're doing.

and a lot of people don't write they don't physically write and they would find it incredibly difficult to sit there for a full week doing quite a lot of writing every day because they don't do it they type

But it's the energy, the energy won't happen if you're typing it, absolutely won't happen.

You've got to be able to do something.

It's making that physical connection with it.

It's the physical and also the physical connection with nature and what is, is very important as well to happen.

I think more than it did in some of the way that some of it was written that came in later, but I think it needs to come in earlier now.

Well, definitely.

I'm so interested in all of this and the journey you've been on and I think, I don't know how much time we've got left but maybe we'll draw to a close for now and we'll carry on with the podcasts on one of the channels we've started.

and i'm laughing because inside because i'm thinking i'm a fine one telling you to write well and every time i've had a reading from you or a message it's always about me writing and i've got half a reiki book written for years that i've never finished so i'm not being you know

you should just do it like i should just do it you know and um there's always something comes along in life but when the door opens it's there and and well it is let's get together soon for one more of these i want to thank everyone who's listened today and hopefully we'll get to talk to you soon namaste everybody thank you very much and jules thanks a lot yes thank you bye bye bye
